How It Works
Your skin makes two proteins that keep it firm and bouncy: collagen and elastin. As you get older, production slows — and that's what causes the texture and laxity changes you start to notice. RF microneedling is a form of collagen induction therapy: a clinical treatment that tells your skin to start producing more of both.
The version most people first hear about is at-home dermarolling. That can help a little with surface texture, but the needles don't reach deep enough to trigger a real collagen response, and there's no heat behind them.
RF microneedling does two things at once. The needle tips reach a measured depth into the skin — not just the surface. Then radiofrequency energy travels through the needles and warms the deeper layers, which is what signals your skin to produce new collagen and tighten up. Microneedling without the heat doesn't get the same result.
The treatment works well for mild to moderate acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, and loose skin. Full results take 3 to 6 months to develop — and we're honest about that timeline from the start.
